Share certificate TraNsfers
Share certificate Transfer
A stock certificate is issued to indicate ownership of water shares. In order to sell, transfer, split, or consolidate shares, the original certificate must be presented to the secretary before changes can be made or an indemnification affidavit (see below). An ownership transfer/change fee is twenty ($20) dollars.
Note: Please keep in mind that the current shareholder of record is responsible for the payment of all assessments. It is the shareholder's responsibility to notify the ditch secretary of any and all changes/transfers.
Indemnification Affidavit
If stock certificates are lost, an indemnification affidavit may be substituted. All indemnification affidavits must be notarized. A fee of fifty ($50) dollars will be charged, in addition to the transfer/change fee.
Impact Fee
Any water distribution change from flood to secondary, or vice versa, will incur a one-time Impact Fee of fifty ($50) dollars per half share and for any subsequent share thereafter. The Impact Fee covers the cost of changing the water turns schedule.
